Hello indiemaker.space! I want to exclusively share a project with you that I've been working on over the past few days after a spontaneous inspiration, and I’d really appreciate your feedback before I go public with it. (Of course, I've already bought a domain ...)

A bit of background: For years, there’s been a trend in the Lord of the Rings community to host movie marathons and indulge in some serious feasting. This trend is currently making a comeback on TikTok. The problem: The recipes and dishes aren't very accessible, and putting together a seven-course menu is quite an undertaking.

🥓 Introducing secondbreakfa.st: a recipe directory for all kinds of dishes from Middle-earth. To start, I’ve based it on this somewhat chaotic collection, but the plan is to gather and link to recipes from other parts of the internet as well. So far, I’m only linking to the recipes and not reproducing the content to avoid copyright issues.

I’m not a coder; I designed most of the site with bolt.new and refined it with Cursor—and for code that’s 100% AI-generated, I’m seriously impressed with the results. There are still a few minor bugs here and there, and I haven't generated all the images yet, there is no login or anything but I wanted to share the site as early as possible to incorporate feedback. Dark Mode, Meal Planner, and Chatbot are at least functional.

That’s it so far; now let me know what you think!
