@Jamie Peak, are there any rules about what should or shouldn't be posted here?

Def not picture of food or taking a bath (like WIP)

Haha, couldn't agree more!

Hey @Szymon Rączka, no hard rules defined/added to the site yet. I feel like they will probably need to be defined at some stage (soon).

To be honest, if it's maker-related and would be useful for other makers to see, I'm good! I'll put this on my task list to give some more thought as I'm aware this is pretty vague. 😅

Yeah! That would be helpful because I'm not sure if I should keep everything strictly related to my projects or I can post life events if yes what kind. At least I know thanks to @Jonno Riekwel that my favorites (joking) are banned hahah! 🤭

Haha. Maker life updates are good for me, ultimately as long as it's not offensive content people are posting (I know you won't post that) it's good!

Just found out that @Jamie Peak rolled out the new streaks feature on Indiemaker while I was away 👀

Haha, yep went out 5 days ago. I'm finding it really addictive to watch the leaderboard. 😅

I'm also just finishing up working on a new way to send email campaigns, I'm planning to announce new features here and via email from now on, it should hopefully keep people in the loop better about new feature releases.

Nice! Does it do it based on local time? Doesn't look like it. I'm in NZ, and it's still at 4, same as my yesterday :P Should go to 5 in a few hours when I visit again.

Hmm, I'll take a look at this. It should be on local time, the first time you visit for that day will be when it logs towards your streak.

It looks like you have a streak of 4 with the last streak day being logged today. In theory when it gets past midnight today (for you) and you visit, it should increase to 5. It appears to be working for the most part as the leaderboard order keeps changing throughout the day due to others in different time zones kicking in and streaks being logged when visiting.

Will investigate for sure!

Ha, did not know about the leaderboard. That is fun to watch indeed. 😊

Checked Lighthouse report after adding more code. Looking good, just small things like text too light.

Just finished my #buildinpublic task manager to stay accountable while developing http://www.niftymacapps.com
