Hey there,

my name is Julian and I am a full time student that learned to code over the past year to build apps on the side. As an introvert I personally find it draining to talk to customers even if its only online.

Especially if its more than a handful.

Thats why I wanted to build an ai companion builder that does that part. I am now at a point where I have a working version and I am looking for some people to test it out.

I would really appreciate you guys checking it out at www.simulit.app and providing some feedback.

Wrote another weekly recap of me building Simulit on indiehackers if you want to check it out:

Is IndieHackers still a thing? Did you have meaningful reach on it?

Its not really great to reach a lot of people. The post is currently at 8 views :D If you get featured on the homepage I guess you could get some great exposure. But I am mostly doing it like a weekly diary to document the complete journey in one place 😅 Reddit provides greater reach but you always have to be careful about promoting.

Do you have a favorite channel to reach your target audience?

Sadly nothing useful to add to the table. I am super scared to post on Reddit, I have heard is very easy to piss off moderators and get banned!

I feel the same, also reddit users are brutal :)

There are a few communities where "promoting" your idea is allowed so you shouldn't worry about posting there. r/SideProject or r/EntrepreneurRideAlong for example are pretty open about posting about your project. Just dont be like: Hey use my product, instead tell a story. Why did you built it? What problem are you solving and how can the community help you i.e. ask for feedback.

Good to know thanks!

Hey fellow Indiemakers,

would love to get some feedback from you to the landing page of www.simulit.app

- What do you like about it?

- Did the first CTA (Join the waitlist) stop you from scrolling?

- Does the 50% off for the first 3 months (so basically 6 months for the price of 3) sound like a good offer?

- Do you think there should be a pricing section although it currently is only a waitlist?

And if you are interested in following along with Simulit feel free to join the waitlist. :)

Hey fellow builders!

Julian here with a quick update on Simulit's second week. Balancing a day job, coaching soccer, studying, being married, and developing Simulit has been challenging but rewarding. Here's a concise rundown:

Day 6: Focused on identifying Simulit's unique edge through competitor analysis. Progress was slower due to work commitments.

Day 7: Completed competitor analysis despite a packed schedule. Insights will refine Simulit's landing page and positioning.

Day 8: Worked on the landing page, aiming for clearer communication of Simulit's features based on competitor insights.

Day 9: Finalized the website update, planning to go live the next day.

Day 10: Launched the updated landing page, began setting up pre-sales, and started analyzing competitors' ads for strategy insights.

Day 11: Prepared a cold email campaign targeting small SaaS owners to understand their feedback loops and introduce Simulit. Also engaged with communities on Reddit and IndieHackers.

Day 12: Posted in various subreddits, wrote this weekly recap, and continued lead generation for the cold email campaign. Planned to increase focus on ads.

Reflections: This week showed the importance of clear goals and efficient time management. The competitor analysis was particularly enlightening, helping to shape Simulit's direction.

Next Steps: I'm diving into cold emailing, ads and further community engagement. The goal is to make customer interviews more efficient and insightful.

Check out Simulit's progress at www.simulit.app

Looking forward to your thoughts and feedback!

Hey everyone! 👋 I'm currently working on an exciting project called Simulit - an AI-powered platform designed to transform the way user interviews are conducted.

What's Simulit?

Simulit automates user interviews, making them more efficient and insightful. It's like having a virtual interviewer that can conduct multiple interviews simultaneously, providing real-time insights and analysis.

Why Simulit?

I realized the traditional user interview process can be time-consuming and often biased. Simulit aims to solve these issues by offering a scalable, unbiased, and efficient solution that captures deep user insights.

The Journey So Far:

I've been openly sharing this journey, from market research to development challenges, and engaging with the community for feedback and insights.

I would love to get your follower and would be super happy if you join my waitlist @ www.simulit.app
