I just shipped a feature where customers can add Jolly to as many Slack channels as they want. They can also limit Jolly to send celebration messages only when channel members have a birthday or a work anniversary.

This is useful for large organizations that want to separate their celebrations by team; it doesn't matter whether they are 20 employees or 350, they tailor Jolly to their own needs.

💬 New in Jolly: Grouping celebration messages

I just shipped a feature where customers can instruct Jolly to group all the celebrations into a single message. Prior to this change, if several people have their birthday or work anniversary on the same day, Jolly would send an individual celebration message for every person.

Now, you can change this by clicking “Settings” within Jolly and enabling message grouping. If you have a large team, this is a great way to prevent a large number of messages from coming into your Slack channel.

⭐️ New in Jolly: Favorites

I just shipped a new option labeled "My favorites" in Jolly. When people add someone to their Favorites list, they'll be personally notified in DMs when their favorite has a special day!

Favorites are a great way to stay on top of the team members' celebrations in larger teams with many employees!

🎊 I'm very excited to announce that Jolly has been approved by Slack and is now listed on the Slack App Directory.

We finally got rid of the annoying "This app was not approved by Slack" banner when installing Jolly! Slack's team has been incredibly helpful, and the entire review process was streamlined.

For you and our customers, this is Slack's stamp of approval on Jolly's security & privacy! You can trust how we secure and handle your data. 🎈

Exciting times are ahead! You can find Jolly in the Slack App Directory at: https://slack.com/apps/A05RLMM3A3D
