Today has been a really interesting day.
We decided to strip out a major part of GrowthPanels, the affiliate program/functionality.
Instead, we’re just going to focus on the part that made us unique. The thing that can help everyone, and can work in tandem with all existing affiliate programs out there…. The Growth Panel itself!
So now it’s exclusively a tool to help SaaS companies engage their users, increase brand loyalty and boost word of mouth marketing effect.
It feels like such a positive move simplifying the app this way.

Quick question, was there any other factor as to why you removed the affiliate program functionality, was there a legacy cost of maintaining, it just didn't fit the product, simplify the message of who you are or purely to help you focus on the core product?
